Slip cost and fit
Type in your boat once, then the numbers each marina gave you: the rate and how it is charged, the slip's size, and the extras. Leave a box blank when it does not apply. Available Marina holds no marina rates: every number here is yours.

Where to find each number
- Rate and how it is charged: from the marina's rate sheet or quote. A seasonal rate may be per foot for the season; a monthly or transient rate may be per foot per month. Pick the one that matches the quote.
- What they bill on: ask whether they charge on your boat's length overall (and whether that includes the pulpit, swim platform and outboard), on the slip's length, or on whichever is longer, and whether there is a minimum length.
- Months: how many months the boat will be in that slip. Per-month charges are multiplied by it; season rates are not.
- Electric: some marinas include it, some charge a flat monthly fee, some meter it. For metered power use your own estimate.
- Tax: if the marina adds sales or rental tax to slip rent, enter the percent on the quote. It is applied to slip rent only.
- Depth: ask for the depth at the slip at low water (or the lowest normal lake level), not the average.
